Vantage Legal Services is seeking a Paralegal for a top personal injury firm located near the Vinings and Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia. This is an in-office position.

Your Role:

As a paralegal, you'll be at the forefront of the firm's legal endeavors, ensuring high quality service to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding clients' claims.
• Correspond with medical providers.
• Order medical records and bills
• Draft and prepare demand packages.
• Prepare pleadings including subpoenas, complaints, answers, deposition notices, motions to continue, motions to compel, motions for summary judgment, motions to dismiss, agreed orders, notice of dismissals, and other miscellaneous pleadings.
• Maintain calendars and oversee the scheduling of hearings, depositions, mediations, inspections and any other meetings or deadlines.
• Obtain all relevant billing statements.
• Obtain and review medical records and prepare medical summaries.
• High-level attention to detail in reviewing discovery responses and analyzing document production.
• Assist in trial preparation, including scheduling witnesses, identification of trial exhibits, preparation of trial binders and implementation of digital trial presentation.
• Review deposition transcripts and prepare deposition summaries.
• Prepare and review all discovery, including drafting discovery and answering discovery.
• Perform research to investigate plaintiff, co-defendants, potential third parties, providers, fact/expert witnesses and product information.
• Research and communicate with expert witnesses.
• Assist with witness preparation
• E-file court documents in state and federal court
• Ability and willingness to work independently on various types of cases (MVA, product liability, medical malpractice).
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience as a personal injury paralegal (withe experience pre-suit and litigation)
• Experience handling catastrophic personal injury cases is preferred
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Willingness to work on site - this is not a remote/hybrid role
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent litigation experience; paralegal certificate preferred
• Ability to manage litigation, including their respective deadlines
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
