Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to property management, ensuring that all aspects of leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations are handled professionally and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage the leasing process, including marketing available properties, conducting tours, and processing applications.
- Oversee tenant relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring tenant satisfaction.
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs through effective communication with vendors and maintenance staff.
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite for tracking leases, payments, and maintenance requests.
- Implement administrative procedures for record keeping, budgeting, and reporting on property performance.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain property appearance.
- Develop strategies for upselling additional services or amenities to tenants.
- Stay informed about local housing regulations including Section 8 requirements to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of leasing processes and contract management.
- Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite is a plus.
- Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong sales skills with an aptitude for upselling services when appropriate.
- Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills to build relationships with tenants and vendors alike.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for site visits.
