Part-Time position
Job Summary: The Receptionist/Office Assistant will be responsible for greeting guests and visitors in a friendly and professional manner and answering calls on multiple phone lines, managing inquiries, and directing calls appropriately. Data entry, and other administrative tasks will be assigned as needed.
Schedule: Monday – Wednesday – Friday/8 hours per day. 20-25 hours per week.
Flexible days/hours when necessary.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Greeting and welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls as appropriate.
- Manage the reception area and ensure it is tidy and presentable.
- Assist with applicant questions and provide assistance to applicant’s completion of pre-interview documents and drug screening.
- Coordinate ordering of office and break area supplies.
- Assist multiple departments with data entry and light administrative office duties.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records
- Excellent time management skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize task effectively.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma, required.
- 1-3 years front desk reception experience or similar role, required.
- Experience in customer service and support, required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk working on a computer.
This role is accountable for all aspects of department performance including safety & environmental, quality, reliability, production, and productivity.
