What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network & Security position at Vantage Point Consulting Inc.?
Key Responsibilities :
1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis
o Work closely with stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements.
o Conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies for network infrastructure enhancements.
2. Network Design & Solution Architecture
o Develop high-level and low-level network designs (HLD & LLD) based on project requirements.
o Design and architect network solutions using Cato SD-WAN, Azure vWAN, Cisco Client, and Palo Alto Firewalls.
o Ensure solutions align with industry best practices and security standards.
3. Bill of Materials (BOM) & Documentation
o Prepare BOM for network components and ensure all required materials are accounted for.
o Document network designs, configurations, and implementation plans.
4. Deployment & Implementation
o Execute end-to-end deployment of network and security solutions as per the design.
o Configure, integrate, and optimize network devices and services.
o Perform testing and validation to ensure the solution meets business objectives.
5. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
o Provide advanced troubleshooting for network and security incidents.
o Work with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
o Optimize network performance and ensure security compliance.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration & Reporting
o Engage with customers, vendors, and internal teams for seamless project execution.
o Provide regular updates, technical reports, and progress tracking to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Hands-on experience with :
o Cato SD-WAN solution
o zure vWAN architecture & connectivity
o Cisco Client (Identity Services Engine) for network access control
o Palo Alto Firewalls (policy configuration, security rules, and threat management)
