Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Manager
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid Onsite: 3-4 days a week)
Duration: 3-6 Months
Job Description:
- This strategic sourcing manager will be responsible for leading the sourcing activities for projects across the Selling General and Administrative (SG&A) category.
- These services will include, but are not limited to, Financial Services, Professional Services and HR related services.
- The strategic sourcing manager analyzes data and works with internal business partners to identify opportunities, develop strategies, develop, and manage RFx’s, and negotiate agreements in this area.
- Must have the ability to think analytically, work independently and manage multiple competing priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze spend data from a variety of sources to develop and implement sourcing strategies.
- Build pricing models and financial analysis in support of negotiation strategies.
- Negotiate and implement deals that maximize cost savings, improve service levels, mitigate contractual risks, and creates/improves overall value for client for the category areas mentioned above.
- Manage RFx process utilizing sourcing best practices.
- Negotiate contracts with a focus on commercial terms
- Develop project plans, deliverables, metrics and milestones. Implement process disciplines and management systems necessary to achieve desired results.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years procurement experience in a sophisticated sourcing environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business , law or related field..
- Must be willing to work in New York, NY; generally contributing from the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
- Strong proficiency in all stages of the sourcing life cycle (from market analysis to procure to pay), especially the negotiation of contractual agreements.
- Cost Modeling: Ability to understand cost drivers and how to break down cost structures

Salary : $40 - $55
