The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of production, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, optimizing processes for efficiency, and leading a team of skilled personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, proven leadership abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Maintain a safe, clean and efficient work environment

· Ensure that all practices and procedures for safety, Quality, Shipping and Production are properly implemented and followed.

· Assume department cost responsibility

o Develop operations budget

o Manage cost to deliver the budget

o Deliver against ongoing Cost savings efforts and challenges

· Complete monthly operations metrics to ensure the facility is running at peak performance and to achieve operational excellence

· Development of personnel for succession planning, ensure team has required skills to deliver against business needs.

Skills and Certifications [note: bold skills and certification are required]

Certification in Safety or quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) is a plus

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred)

High level of leadership skills, organizational planning, teamwork, and analytical reasoning

Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

5 years in a management role

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality standards

Knowledge of relevant software applications, such as ERP systems and production planning tools

Capable of communicating and expressing ideas clearly and concisely, in both written and oral form

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Strong interpersonal, technical and presentation skills required.

Bachelor's Degree (Technical, or Business Administration preferred)

5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Candidate Details: 5 to 7 years experience
