Key Responsibilities
- Ensure effective management of environmental systems while maintaining a safe workplace and compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Oversee/maintain the environmental compliance for a manufacturing facility, including air permitting, water pollution prevention, solid and hazardous waste management, spill prevention and countermeasures control, emergency response management, training on environmental programs, environmental budget, supporting and driving productivity improvements, and reviewing and approving authority for capital expenditures.
- Develop and implement plans to improve environmental performance and reduce risk.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to environmental compliance.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental programs, regulatory, and manufacturing, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role. Strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence a multi-discipline team are essential for this position.
