The purpose of the Production Scheduler's role is to plan and schedule appropriate production runs based on inventory and demand . The incumbent in this position will also be responsible for monitoring inventory and analyzing data in the SAP system
Summary :
- Plan, prepare and evaluate manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows to establish sequence and lead time of each production operation based on SAP order entry
- Expedite operations that delay or alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
- Maintain SAP integrity
- May be responsible for Resale Inventory (Imports)
- Analyze and monitor inventory daily
- Enter production and warehouse transfers in SAP system
- Prepare production reports
