Job Description : This is a 12-month part-time contract position, 28 hours / week. Start time is 5 : 30 am and end time will vary depending on the amount of work (but always expect 12 hours on Mondays). Salary is $15.00 / Hour.
Job Summary : This position is a vital part of remittance processing. Remittance Processing collects, scans, and processes all mailed in payments for each Entergy jurisdiction for utility payments.
Job Responsibility : Manually extract mailed inn payments with the assistance of an OPEX Falcon with scanner attached. Once the mail is open and extracted it is placed in a specific sort pattern and scanned into our software for processing. In addition, other mail exceptions and correspondence opened are batched and forwarded for processing. A close attention to detail is required to ensure that the work is properly batched and scanned for processing. (i.e. staples removed, checks and documents facing the correct way, batches marked correctly, etc.) This is a fast paced environment. Envelope / paper cleanup at the end of the day is required.
