What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Liaison II position at Vantage Recruiting LLC?

Operations Liaison II (Control room Operator) position available in Orange, TX. This is a 5 month contract position at $69 / hour. We are in need of someone with at least two years of experience as a Control Room Operator in either a coal-fired or legacy gas power plant.

The operators work 12-hour shifts, rotating between day and night.

Regarding this position, it can be filled by either a full-time or part-time resource. While our preference is to find a full-time candidate, we are open to part-time options if someone is available and willing.

Control Room Operator with the appropriate experience to help maintain operational stability.

Minimum Qualifications :

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
Desired : 2-year Process Technology Degree

Minimum Experience :

At least 5 years of power plant experience, preferably working as a control room operator or supervisor.

Desired : 10 years or power plant operations experience.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities :

Strong knowledge of technology and use of computer

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to take and understand directives and complete tasks

Leadership skills and decision making skills

Ability to lead multiple activities and changing priorities

Ability to work under pressure

Self-motivated and dependable team player

Ability to recognize hazards in the workplace and have the ability to mitigate the hazards

Ability to maintain and care for Company equipment properly and safeguard assets

Demonstrated acceptance of a diverse and inclusive work environment and customer base

Desired :

Control Room Operator experience at legacy gas power plant

Supercritical unit operating experience
