We are seeking a full time Clinical Psychologist at the Naval Hospital in Pensacola, FL.
Specific Duties:
Practice within the guidelines of their state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges.- Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources, as appropriate.
- Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders.
- Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries.
- Assist in rehabilitation of patients.
**The health care worker (HCW) shall serve as a member of the primary care clinic’s health care team and assist the primary care manager (PCM) in managing the overall health of their enrolled population. The program goal is to help improve recognition, treatment and management of psychosocial/behavioral problems and conditions in the enrolled population. Scope and responsibilities include targeted assessment and evaluation, including diagnostic impressions and functional status focused on the presenting problem. The HCW assigned in this position will provide consultation services to all patients referred by the primary care team. Services will be governed by Defense Health Agency (DHA) practice standards as delineated in the Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) practice manual.
Work Schedule:
Normal schedule is Monday to Friday, between 6:00am and 6:00pm, 8 to 10-hr shifts to include unpaid lunch period.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA accredited psychology program.
Internship/Residency: Successful completion from an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed clinical psychologist within the last 2 years.
License: Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist from any state. Please identify state.
Life Support Certification: Possess a current BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
Security: Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.
