About the Role:
This position is responsible for efficient movement, storage, management and tracking of materials within the production facility.
Responsibilities:
- Staging and organizing material in their designated locations
- Crating and moving sub-assemblies from production to quality control and shipping
- Maintain tidiness and daily reorganization of multiple critical staging areas
- Will be required to drive a forklift safely in an active production environment in order to move material throughout the production facility
Requirements / Skills:
- Requires minimum of 5 years of previous material handling responsibilities
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently at times
- Must have strong organization skills
- Ability to communicate and work well with others on a fast-paced manufacturing floor.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- High School Diploma.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Must have basic computer skills (finding and opening documents, filling in forms).
- Requires ability to read, write and understand written documents in English.
- Ability to remain focused on detailed tasks for long periods of time.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
