About this Opportunity:
The Manufacturing Expeditor/Material Handler is responsible for coordinating the flow of materials and parts within the production facility to ensure timely completion of orders. This role involves monitoring production schedules, managing inventory levels, and facilitating cross-departmental communication to prevent delays and maintain efficient operations.
- Track inventory levels of raw materials and components, identify potential shortages, and initiate purchase orders to ensure an adequate supply for production.
- Track the progress of orders throughout the production process to ensure timely completion of orders, address bottlenecks, and work with production teams to resolve delays.
- Collaborate with planning, purchasing, warehousing, quality control, and production departments to ensure smooth material flow and promptly address any issues that may arise. Provide timely updates regarding inventory or scheduling issues.
- Identify and resolve issues related to material availability, production delays, and quality control to minimize disruptions in production.
- Assist with physically moving materials within the facility as needed to ensure proper routing and timely delivery to production lines.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Experience operating a forklift.
- Familiarity with production processes, material handling, and scheduling is highly advantageous.
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Ability to analyze production data, identify trends and bottlenecks, and propose solutions for improvement.

- Proficiency in using ERP systems and other software
