Responsibilities:
- Follow ISO 9001/ISO 13485 ANSI/AAMI/ISO; ensure consistent use, promotion and adherence of ISO and its procedures throughout the organization and ensure continuous improvement to the ISO system.
- Perform secondary functions to parts, ensuring that products meet specification.
- Document all procedures that are performed using work order for record keeping – adjust if necessary
- Inspect work-piece dimensions and aesthetics to determine accuracy of deburring operation.
- Perform hand/machine operations to detect work-piece defects or malfunctions
- Use hand and power tools as required.
- Inspect previous work, as well as your own, to ensure quality established standards.
- Perform basic housekeeping of area.
- Perform minor maintenance on machines.
- Return excess tooling and accessories to the Tool Crib when possible.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment around all assigned areas.
- Full inspections must be completed at a minimum of 4 times per shift
- Accurately fill out labor tickets for Time, “run” or “run complete” at end of shift.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements / Skills:
- Minimum of 1 years machining experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Requires ability to lift 50lbs maximum and stand for prolonged periods of time and very often going into tight, confined and close areas.
