Job Description : Account Development Representative

Vantron is a fast-growing leader in IoT and embedded computing solutions to clients worldwide, and we are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team as Account Development Representatives (ADR). This role will have its primary focus on maintaining and continually improving the relationships between Vantron and our existing customers within each sales unit. You will also work with key stakeholders within Vantron to handle all post-sales customer service events, product or services fulfillment as well as reverse logistics for these customers. A successful ADR will be expected to not only maintain and improve relationships with our current customers, but also proactively seek additional revenue opportunities with them. You will be responsible for conducting business dealings with C-suite level executives in a way that creates superior experience setting the stage for effective sales follow-up and future product sales. This position reports to the Account Executive within your sales unit.

A successful candidate should have at minimum a bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience in sales or business development in fields related to IoT, electronics, networking or computing. Excellent communication skills, a customer-centric mindset, highly organized, ability to work independently but also with interpersonal skills that work well within a team, and the willingness to continue to learn and adapt are all desirable traits. Technical proficiency should include CRM, Microsoft business suites, other business intelligence tools, and fluency with social media platforms.

Responsibilities :

  • Primary responsibility is to become an indispensable advocate and build long-lasting relationships with Vantron’s existing customers, handling all their day-to-day needs as well as proactively seek additional revenue opportunities.
  • As the single point of contact for these customers, you will own all interactions with these customers, and be the first line of response for any service, product fulfillment, logistic or reverse logistic events.
  • Leverage on-boarding and continuous training to be an expert about Vantron, our industry, and our platform’s benefits and features in order to effectively articulate our value proposition, while gathering information about prospect needs.
  • Leverage existing relationships and research using business intelligence tools to seek and uncover other revenue opportunities within other divisions or groups within these companies.
  • Update customer interactions in CRM to ensure efficient account management and overall transparency.
  • Consistently achieve monthly qualified opportunity quotas to ensure revenue objective.
  • Understand, as much as possible and using all existing contacts and tools, the corporate budget, decision-making timeframe, product portfolio, and key decision-makers within these customer’s organizations.

Requirements and skills

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of proven experience in closing sales or business development.
  • Experience in different sales techniques including cold calls, social media and email outreaches.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Business Tools and other business intelligence tools.
  • A willingness to learn about new technologies and products in order to be a better brand ambassador to Vantron
