Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to recipes or customer preferences while maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and making recommendations based on preferences.
- Maintain knowledge of current drink trends, menu items, and specials to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations while handling food and beverages.
- Operate the Aloha POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations.
