Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team at our luxury hotel, Vaquera House this summer. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a memorable experience. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for guest relations, and helping serve breakfast and/or bartending. Our guests often leave generous gratuity and this is divided amongst the team members.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, tour the hotel and assist with luggage.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring accuracy in guest information.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
- Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls and relay messages promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences throughout their stay.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel.
- Serve breakfast/bartend.
