We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing events from conception to completion. Position Overview
This position is responsible for creating memorable events for members. Handles all event preparations from client meetings to clean up, develops seating plans, and evaluates success afterward.
Essential Functions
· Creates event proposals by identifying members’ requirements and expectations for each event
· Coordinates with vendors and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order
· Coordinates event entertainment, including music and performers
· Manages all event setup, tear down, and follow-up processes
· Manages and oversees events on the day of, including problem-solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, staff communications, and organizing vendors
· Other duties as assigned
Education/Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in hospitability management is preferred
· At least 2 years experience as an event coordinator
· Must have computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
· Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate a commitment to customer service
· Ability to maintain confidentiality
Physical Demands/Work Environment
· Physically fit with good stamina for physical tasks such as moving and lifting furniture and standing for long periods
· Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
· Ability to work flexible shifts and extended hours including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays
