What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Parts Warehouse Receiver position at Vara Chevrolet?
Parts is hiring! The Warehouse Clerk receives, stores and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse and Parts department.
Vara Chevrolet is located off of IH-35 South near South Park Mall.

Responsibilities

Receiving, stocking, order fulfillment - packing & deliver, reverse logistics including returns

Proper checking in and stocking of parts, picking and packing of parts, and shipping of parts

Maintain OSHA Safety Standards

Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits

Physical demands: stand, reach, climb, stoop, and lift heavy objects
Qualifications

General understanding of various functions of a distribution center

Ability to lift 60 lbs and work at heights of 25 feet or more

Ability to use a forklift or willingness to be certified within 90 days of hire

Warehouse experience and material handling equipment experience preferred

Computer-literate with the ability to learn and become proficient in any software program

High school diploma or equivalent degree preferred

Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
