Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments, including IV insertion, as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' health and report any changes or concerns to physicians or other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans, incorporating patient preferences and values.
- Provide acute pain management, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborative care approaches.
- Conduct occupational health assessments, including workers' compensation evaluations, as needed.
- Utilize Epic electronic health records to document patient care and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, including those with experience in children's care.
- Travel nursing opportunities may be available for experienced nurses seeking new challenges and locations.
Skills:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Experience in home community care, long term care, or acute care environments.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and workers' compensation law.
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records.
- Ability to administer medications and IV insertions.
- Experience in acute pain management and collaborative care approaches.
