- Perform oil changes and fluid checks on various types of vehicles.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance tasks effectively.
- Conduct inspections of vehicles to identify any potential issues or necessary repairs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly about services performed and any recommended maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in sales efforts by promoting additional services that may benefit the customer’s vehicle.
- Collaborate with other service technicians and mechanics to enhance overall service quality.
- Previous experience in automotive repair or as a service technician is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to perform oil changes and other routine maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience working in a shop setting is a plus but not required.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical school training preferred).
- Physical ability to lift heavy components and work in various conditions.
