Construction Crew Member - Advanced

EXPERIENCED Construction Laborer position with a licensed, local Maui, HI general Contracting and Excavation company. This position is offered in MAUI, HAWAII. Only interested in candidates already living in Maui or currently in the process of relocating to Maui.

SKILLED, experienced Construction Laborers are a VITAL part of our crew. This is not an entry-level construction laborer position, and we pay above-average for an above-average employee. We are a busy, family-run General Contracting company, specializing in all phases of construction with an emphasis on excavation projects and concrete work, with occasional Davis-Bacon wage projects, as well. We have a position available for an EXPERIENCED professional, reliable, hard-working, construction laborer, preferably with experience in multiple phases of construction. Looking for an employee who can be trusted to work as hard and as professionally as we do.

Pay-rolled full-time hourly employment with medical benefits, must submit to drug test and background check. MUST HAVE GOOD REFERENCES. We WILL call them.

MUST:

--Have a current, valid Drivers License

-- Have AT LEAST 5 years of recent Construction Laborer experience.

--Have recent construction laborer experience and skills - excavation, pipe-laying, and plumbing experience would be preferred.

-- Be safety-oriented, with extensive jobsite experience working around heavy equipment

-- Be able to take direction and follow instructions and company policies, working efficiently with a crew and occasionally unsupervised.

-- Be physically fit and able to lift up to 75lbs
-- Be RELIABLE and ready to work. Strong work ethic.
-- Be professional.
--Currently live on Maui.
--Have reliable transportation.
--Have basic tool set and hard hat, work boots, etc.
--Be able to proficiently use basic laborer tools, including chipping gun, shovel, power tools, etc.

Summary

As a Skilled Construction Laborer, you will be an essential part of our construction team, reporting directly to the Site Supervisor. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with plumbing tasks, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring site safety and efficiency. Responsibilities

• Perform various construction tasks, including pipefitting and plumbing installations and repairs.
• Coordinate daily work with heavy equipment operator/partner and efficiently assist in construction projects.
• Maintain a valid driver's license to transport materials and equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
• Adhere to safety protocols to promote a safe working environment.
• Assist in site preparation and cleanup to maintain a productive workspace.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
