Manages, prepares, administers, and directs the control of the budget. Manages the activities of the financial analyst staff. Reviews and approves recommendations for financial planning and control, providing relevant fiscal information to executive management team. Monitors division and department adherence to approved budget. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Performs all required management responsibilities including but not limited to:
implementing the company's policies, programs, and guidelines; ensuring employee productivity and growth; managing resources; knowing Varex's business; and maintaining functional, technical, and external market awareness necessary for managing immediate organization. Perform critical variance analysis/reporting.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Ability to lead people
- Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
Education and Experience
- B.S. in Finance, Accounting or related field of study
- 8 years of related experience
- 2 years management experience
