Role and Responsibilities

Our removal technicians are responsible for the care, removal and transport of the deceased. Our removal technicians are the first people that families see after their loved one has passed away; often confronted with the worst day for many families. Removal technicians must be able to show compassion and empathy to family’s while being able to care for the deceased individual with the utmost respect and dignity.

· Responsible for operating company owned vehicles in a safe and legal manner.

· Maintain company vehicle cleanliness.

· Professional appearance and suit required.

· Ability to lift and maneuver 100 lbs in different environments.

· Follow processes and procedures outlined by policies.

· Follow chain of custody, paperwork and deceased identification procedures

· Cooperate with first responders, law enforcement, medical examiners, hospital staff, and other facility staff.

· Exhibit sensitivity to bereaved family members.

· Safely remove and transport decedents to their destination; complying with facility guidelines for delivery.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· High School Diploma

· Valid US Driver’s License

· Pass criminal background check

· Must be able to lift 100 lbs

Preferred Skills

· Fluent to read and write English language

· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely

Additional Notes

· Position requires driving company vehicle

· Position requires dealing with grieving families

· Must maintain a clean and neat professional appearance

Professional attire required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $500.00 - $3,000.00 per month
