Vargas Courier and Logistics LLC is seeking reliable and professional Independent On-Call Couriers to join our growing network in the following regions
Salt lake City/ Ogden (Utah)
Dallas/Fort Worth Region (Texas)
Houston Region (Texas)
San Francisco and San Jose Area (California)
Bakersfield and Fresno Area (California)
Greater Portland Oregon Metro Area (Oregon)
As an Independent On-Call Courier, you will be responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of various items to our clients. This is an on-call position, with delivery opportunities becoming available as needed. This flexible arrangement is ideal for individuals looking to supplement their income or set their own schedule.
Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently transport goods to designated locations. Maintain clear communication with dispatch and clients (when necessary).Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time. Maintain the professionalism and reputation of Vargas Courier and Logistics LLC.
Requirements:
Must possess your own reliable vehicle.
Cargo vans and box trucks are preferred due to the potential for larger delivery opportunities.
Cars and pickup trucks may also be considered, but availability of work may vary depending on the market.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Proof of vehicle insurance.
Ability to use a smartphone or other mobile device for communication and navigation
Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality and situational awareness.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Compensation:
Pay rate per job fluctuates based on the specifics of each delivery (e.g., distance, size, urgency).
