Our Bookkeeper will be an integral part of the team, ensuring the financial health of our firm and contributing to our growth. Your responsibilities will include:
1.Accounting and Financial Management:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable with precision and timeliness.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and credit cards.
- Transfer funds from trust to operating, by individual transaction
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Issue all checks from the firm, keep track of payments we make
2.Billing and Invoicing:
- Review invoices as needed.
- Identify AR issues or opportunties as they arise.
- Track our collection rate.
3.Trust Accounting:
- Oversee client trust accounts, ensuring strict compliance with legal requirements.
- Conduct regular reconciliations and generate reports for attorneys and auditors.
4.Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly financial reports for leadership.
- Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting to support firm growth.
5.Tax Preparation Support:
- Coordinate with external accountants during tax season to ensure accurate filings.
6.Problem-Solving and Innovation:
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes.
- Proactively address discrepancies and implement solutions.
