Job Summary
Variation Pairing is looking for an Associate General Counsel to join its regulatory team. As an Associate General Counsel, you will be responsible for supporting the Company's regulatory strategy, preparing and prosecuting rate and other regulatory matters in three states: Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
Main Tasks
- Develop and implement regulatory strategies to support the Company's goals.
- Prepare and file company documents, such as rate and tariff filings, with regulatory authorities.
- Support Company's federal electric rate proceedings and participate in resource planning.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective implementation of regulatory policies.
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law or eligible to become licensed in Minnesota, North Dakota, or South Dakota.
- At least 5 years' experience in utility or state regulatory and administrative law.
- Experience with investor-owned utilities is a plus.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
