Responsibilities
The Product Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing products:
- Direct and coordinate activities for assigned projects and programs
- Facilitate DFMEA development and definition
- Lead engineering & design activities utilizing product design standards
- Releasing 2D & 3D data to internal manufacturing plants and suppliers
- Assist with management of programs
Experience
- Technical Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
- 6 years of experience in automotive product design or 4 with automotive glazing
- Experience with GD&T and tolerance stack-up principles
- Understanding of UG, CATIA or similar CAD packages
