Responsibilities
The Sr. Product Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of new products:
- Direct requirements reviews, test readiness reviews & design reviews
- Drive compliance to requirements & maintain compliance matrix records
- Support other key functional engineering groups
- Direct the creation of models, prints, electronic schematics, PCBA layouts & BOM
- Create & release assembly and functional rest specifications
- Drive close-loop handling of all issues to ensure continuous improvement
- Work with Business Development to obtain product requirements and approval
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 7 years of product development & design release to production experience
- 3 years of experience in battery system projects
