About The Position

Responsibilities
- Primary Support Contact: Serve as a point of contact for employee IT support requests via Jira Service Manager.
- On-Site Assistance: Provide full-time on-site support for our office business teams and genetics laboratory, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on both Mac and Windows platforms, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime.
- New Employee Onboarding: Assist with onboarding new employees, including account creation, laptop setup, and IT orientation.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to enhancing our IT environment by optimizing current business processes and procedures.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed IT documentation and procedures.
- System Administration: Help manage and support Google Workspace, EntraID, Mosyle MDM, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
- End-User Training: Conduct training for staff on newly installed hardware and software systems.
- Occasional After-Hours Work: Be available for occasional after-hours work to meet operational needs.
- Currently enrolled in a related Bachelor of Science degree program.
- 1-3 years IT support experience in a Windows/Mac environment.
- Some experience with Google Workspace.
- Strong communication skills via email, speaking, and instant messaging.
- Additional requisites include: strong organizational and interpersonal skills, a process-oriented mindset, strong problem solving and analytical skills, the ability to work independently, a results-oriented attitude with the ability to prioritize, and a talent for interacting with people at all levels.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Must be available to work within the Framingham office 5 days a week.
- Pursuing a degree in computer science.
- Scripting and automation background.
- IT Certifications (A , Network , Google Certs, Microsoft Certs).
Salary : $20 - $25
