Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the seating process efficiently.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately using the Aloha POS system.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about menu items, reservations, and special events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host station and dining area.
- Assist with guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
- Support food service operations by assisting servers during busy periods as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest relations.
- Familiarity with POS systems, specifically Aloha POS, is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service are essential.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
