Job Description

The Factory Procurement Buyer is responsible for sourcing and purchasing the materials, components, and services essential for maintaining efficient production operations. This position guarantees the timely delivery of necessary materials, at optimal cost, and in compliance with quality requirements. The Factory Procurement Buyer collaborates closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams, balancing cost effectiveness with supply chain reliability.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Identifying and sourcing necessary materials, components, and equipment.
• Building strong relationships with suppliers for consistent supply.
• Collaborating with inventory and production teams to minimize stock-outs.
• Monitoring market trends and adjusting procurement strategies.
• Keeping procurement documentation and records.
• Evaluating procurement processes for improvements and implementing best practices.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Exceptional Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Proven Negotiation Experience in a Project-Driven Environment
• Expertise with SAP (or Similar ERP Systems) in Material Sourcing and Inventory Management
• Results-Oriented and Performance-Driven
• Highly Organized with Strong Time Management and Rapid Learning Abilities
