Job Description
Technical Program Manager is responsible for existing and new customer programs, managing the engineering services along the entire value chain of development, industrialization, production and life cycle management offering the best technical solution. They manage the program in terms of product costs, timeline, technical feasibility and quality risks
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful completion of projects
- Manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Own project schedules/delivery targets & budgets
- Report to stakeholders
- Gain a deep understanding of customers’ technical requirements and provide solutions/evaluate feasibility
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction
- Calculation of product costs based on MPC and PPC results
- Proposal of cost-plus pricing to CPM, BDM or CSM for discussion
- Final pricing decision with CPM, BDM or CSM
- Leading in a project set-up
- Continuously improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs, maximizing CM2 contribution, minimizing quality costs
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects regarding the production of electronic, precision mechanical and electromechanical assemblies and subassemblies
- 5 years of experience in project management/electronics environment
- Entrepreneurship
- Tools- and process knowledge
- Problem-solving
- Strong industrialization know-how
