Skills:
Ability to lead a Data Mart development project including design, development, data modeling, implementation and documentation. - Knowledge of Oracle databases and data warehouse database design. - Ability to design data warehouse schema objects for various Data Marts. - Ability to use data warehouse designing software tools like Erwin, Visio or others to document and communicate project goals effectively. - Ability to build data warehouse fact tables and dimension tables applying slowing changing dimention concepts. - Ability to design ETL jobs to integrate data from different sources into Oracle Exadata databases running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. - Ability to build data pipelines to process terabytes of data while maintaining performance and proactively scaling resources as needed. - Ability for query, and Talend job optimization to ensure adequate performance. - Ability to analyze visualization/reports requirements to design the corresponding database objects. - Good communication skills to provide knowledge transfer sessions and the corresponding documentation. - Ability to draft project documentation including diagrams and project management documentation requirements. - Knowledge of the Talend administration consoles to help maintain and configure new projects and jobs.
Experience Preferred:
Three (3) years' experience within the last five (5) years leading data mart projects in Oracle Exadata Databases Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Three (3) years' experience within the last five (5) years as a data warehouse architect in Oracle Exadata Databases Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This should include structuring and organizing databases specifically for data warehouses, expertise in data modeling techniques, optimizing query performance, understanding ETL processes, and designing database architecture to efficiently store and retrieve large volumes of data. Three (3) years' experience within the last five (5) years of Oracle SQL & PL/SQL programming as part of ETL solution implementations. Five (5) years' experience within the last seven (7) years in architecting and implementing ELT processes in Qlik Talend including Version 6.5 or greater. Three (3) years' experience within the last five (5) years developing Business Intelligence solutions using On-prem and Cloud technologies.
Education
Degrees: Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited four-year college/university in one of the following majors: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Computer Sciences, or Informatics. Diplomas must be provided upon request. Certificates: Any of these certificates, Talend Data Integration Certificate, Talend Big Data Developer Certification, or Talend API Services Developer Certification.
