Title: Data Analyst - Marketing
Location: Oakland, CA 94612 (Hybrid)
Duration: 8 Months
LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY. They need to be able to report to the office on occasion - Hybrid, expectation is 1-2x week in the office
**This person will need to have had some exposure/experience with data modelling, so it can’t be someone who needs direction every step of the way.

working with data/metrics repositories
experience building data-driven charts & dashboards.
**May submit expense reimbursements WITH PRIOR APPROVAL if asked to travel to an alternate location further from their home than HQ (unlikely)
Core Scope
- Support multiple teams in the process for benchmarking, creating, capturing, monitoring, reporting and optimizing of OKRs and KPIs
- Analyze, integrate and interpret data from brand, marketing, and comms campaigns for actionable insights in a dynamic environment.
- Create dashboards and reports for data-driven decision making.
- Create statistical probability models that quantify relationships between KPIs, their drivers, and generate forecasted quantitative impacts for campaigns (e.g., NPS, AVE, marketing mix with dynamic advertising pricing, social sentiment and engagement, reputation management, etc.), particularly for brand equity, brand trust and brand ROI.
- Lead or support the presentation of results to department team members and leadership
Experience Desired
- Expertise in programming and visualization tools such as Python, SQL, R, Tableau, PowerBI, Adobe Analytics, etc.
- Proficiency in advanced data analysis, machine learning, predictive analytics to create forecasts and content for Lean reporting.
- Lean literacy.
- Value mapping and journey mapping experience.
- Prior work with cross-functional teams and external vendors/agencies and their datasets.
- Familiarity with utility electric and gas business, and familiarity with California’s net zero, electrification, decarbonization goals.
