Job Summary :
A HVAC and plumbing engineer interested in working on a diverse collection of building configurations.
Under general supervision, capable of performing all aspects of conventional design engineering,
analysis, and studies on new and existing structures.
Key Responsibilities :
The Mechanical Buildings Design Group provides HVAC and plumbing solutions for Client's
Global projects. The Mechanical Engineer level 5 position is responsible for the engineering and design
of the HVAC and plumbing systems in various types of facilities.
The HVAC Team is engaged in the following :
Design and Construction Activities
Project Delivery Methods - Traditional Design-Bid-Build and Alternative Conceptual-BidBuild.
Facility Types - Power Generation buildings, Substations, Oil & Gas structures, Water
Treatment and Energy Storage buildings.
Systems - HVAC and Plumbing.
Type of Areas - Power Generation Hall, Administrative, Warehouse, Maintenance,
Workshop, Laboratory, Chemical Storage & Handling, Electrical Distribution Center, Low & Medium Voltage Switchgear, Pump Areas, Engine Generator, Blowers / Air
Compressors, Waste water treatment building and Flammable & Combustible Liquids Storage.
Studies
Energy Audit / Efficiency - Engineering studies, system performance reviews, and energy
compliance calculations
Code Review / Application - Facility review for code compliance
Sustainable Design / LEED - Application of sustainable strategies
Preferred Qualifications :
Self-Motivated, Problem Solving, Written Communications, Driven for Results, Quality Focused, Strong
Listening Skills. Intermediate knowledge of engineering design principles and the following applicable design guides and standards related to HVAC, and plumbing system design.
Including a basic knowledge of the following :
International Codes Council (ICC) Suite of Codes
ASHRAE Handbooks / Standards
ASPE design handbooks
SMACNA Standards
NFPA standards
Computer generated HVAC Heatloads, energy modeling and HVAC equipment sizing
Technical Submittal reviewing process Bid reviewing process
Microsoft Office Suite
Bluebeam Revu
Revit 3D Modeling.
Person needs to be a LEED AP certified professional experienced in obtaining LEED's certification
for industrial buildings.
Extensive experience with large-scale water-cooled chillers is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications :
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 7 years related work experience.

Certifications :
