Compensation: $22 per hour uncapped commission (Expected OTE $55k-$60k per year)

VariQuest is a leading provider of visual and kinesthetic teaching tools to educators in the K-12 marketplace. We are committed to delivering exceptional value to our customers and are seeking a motivated outbound supply sales representative to join our Customer Care team.

Summary:

The Outbound Supply Sales Representative will be responsible for proactively reaching out to solicit, nurture, and become a valuable resource to new and existing customers, with the overall goals of increasing revenue and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.

· Customer Engagement: Reach out to existing school accounts via phone and email to build strong relationships and understand their needs

· Collaboration: Utilizing the company’s customer relationship management (CRM) system, work with your sales manager and marketing team to create strategic calling lists and campaigns to new and existing customers.

· Sales Strategy: Executes calling campaigns by making outbound telephone calls to nurture mutually beneficial relationships with key contacts.

o Conduct a minimum of 60 outbound dials a day.

o Identifies key customer contacts, gains an understanding of product and supply usage, ensures customer equipment is in proper working condition, facilitates registration for customer training, presents current pricing and promotions, and educates customers on product applications and value-added content and resources.

o Follows up on a timely and appropriate basis.

o Seeks to identify “champion” customers and power users for marketing use.

· Reporting: Enters new and updated information into CRM system according to company guidelines and is responsible for accuracy and thoroughness of data.

· Product knowledge: Maintains an understanding of product offerings and how they align with the educational goals of the customer. Including current pricing and promotions, providing customers with accurate information for supply, accessory, and warranty quotes.

· Expectations: Meets or exceeds defined activity and sales goals and other quotas.

· Team player: Team Actively participates in departmental meetings, and works closely with after-market and other sales personnel, identifying areas for improvement and communicating new opportunities.

· Flexibility: Performs other duties as apparent or assigned.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree, preferably in Sales, Marketing, or related field, from a two-year college or technical school and 1-2 years of customer service and/or inside sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working in the Education market desirable.

· Proficiency with a CRM system such as Salesforce.com as well as basic knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.

· Intermediate Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

· Basic Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

· Intermediate Skills - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
