Title: Production Machine Operator / Assembler
Location: Deland, FL 32724
Duration: 0-6 Months (Possible Extension or Conversion)
Schedule: 4:50am to 3:20pm M-TH
Pay Rate: $16.50/Hour on W2
Key responsibilities/essential functions include:
· Inspecting, slitting, cleaning and processing continuous media rolls.
· Inspecting, trimming and packaging of media products.
· Reading and following complex work procedures and schematics or receiving verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
· Follows all EHS and Quality policies and procedures.
· Works with team lead, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and process efficiency.
· Comply with EHS regulations and policies including wearing required PPE.
· Complete all necessary equipment in related area.
Required Qualifications:
· High School Diploma/GED or local equivalent. 2 years’ experience in a heavy manufacturing environment required.
· Basic math skills and measuring skills are required.
· Accuracy with both calipers and micrometers.
· Attention to detail and quality-minded work habits.
· Demonstrated ability to communicate with co-workers and leadership.
· Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs., stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for long periods.
· Must be able to read and write simple statements.
· Ability to make decisions and have sound judgment
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire, Contract
Pay: Up to $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
