Title: Production Technician / Assembler
Location: Hesston, KS 67062
Duration: 0-3 Months (Possible Extension or Conversion)
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday to Friday)
Pay Rate: $20.00/Hour on W2
Description: Candidate will be responsible for building Farming Machinery equipment. Chosen individual will need to have strong mechanical aptitude and ability to be self-led to complete products and projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, drawing specifications and parts list. Have the ability to gather parts, subassemblies, tools and materials needed to complete jobs.
· Position parts and subassemblies using templates or reading measurements
· Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
· Read and interpret engineering drawings and understand bills of materials.
· Use correct hand tools and applicable equipment
· Comfortable using heavy machinery or equipment, such as forklifts or overhead lifts
· The ability to apply common sense and understanding in order to carry out instructions.
· Have a good work ethic and take pride in one’s work
· Have the ability to use general tooling and equipment
· May be assigned other duties as required or needed
