WORK HOURS : Mon-Fri; 8am-5pm CST
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT : Travel is occasionally required, primarily domestic / local throughout the year, although some out-of-the-state / country and overnight travel may be expected.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Master Production Operations Production Planner is a key member of the Production Operations team responsible for developing and maintaining the production plan along with providing input into the production scheduling function to support on-time delivery and other operational objectives.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop Annual Production Plan for Make-to-Order and Make-to-Stock Products.
- Partner with S&OP Planning and Merchandising teams to gather projected sales demand data and provide capacity / supply feedback.
- Participate in the maintenance of planning and scheduling system parameters.
- Develop and generate weekly reports for key Production Operation KPIs.
- Collaborate with the production scheduling team to support the achievement of operational objectives.
- Facilitate the communication of clear and accurate information to and from manufacturing facilities.
- As a Production Planning and Order Data Subject Matter Expert, collaborate with other departments regarding new products, processes, training, and special projects related to production operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This job operates in a professional office environment. Largely a sedentary role with some filing requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. The ability to sit or stand for long periods through meetings and while operating office equipment, PC’s, laptop, telephone will be required.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; drive, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
During events, the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time (5 hours plus) is required. The ability to communicate with customers and colleagues using the following but not limited to radio, walkie talkie, text message and email is required. The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and manipulate equipment that is a minimum of 30 lbs. is required.
