WORK HOURS Monday – Friday, 6am through 2:30pm
Seasonal team members work 8-hour shifts for 40 hours per week. Shift times may vary, and extra hours may be added to your schedule to ensure we fulfill our commitments to customers.

Varsity Spirit, A Varsity Achievement Brand, is looking to hire a Seasonal Pocket Filler Worker to join our Bindery team. As a member of the Varsity Yearbook Kansas City Yearbook team, you will be responsible for preparing boxes of books for shipment.

Varsity Spirit, A Varsity Achievement Brand, is looking to hire a Seasonal Pocket Filler Worker to join our Bindery team. As a member of the Varsity Yearbook Kansas City Yearbook team, you will be responsible for preparing boxes of books for shipment.
What You Will Do
- Wraps skids with stretch wrap.
- Weighs orders on scales.
- Packages any extra material for shipment (WMM, Supplements, Originals).
- Prepares samples for plant and salespeople.
- Counts quantity of books/boxes for each job.
- Loads and unloads to delivery trucks.
- Operate a forklift.
- Operate a power jack.
- Delivers mail and supplies throughout plant.
- Prepares mail and FedEx packages.
- Cleans and organize the dock/warehouse.
- Makes room in warehouse for more jobs to be put away.
- Helping with shelving and labeling projects.
KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Must be able to operate forklift and hand jack.
- The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Experience working in a high-volume shipping dock.
- Able to cooperate and work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but involved written or oral instructions.
