Tasks:
• Removing and reinstalling reworked or replacement parts for subsequent riveting or fastening, using common tools.
• Reading work orders, drawings, and specifications for damaged parts or structures to determine rework procedures.
• Cleaning, stripping, prime, and sanding structural surfaces and materials prior to bonding.
• Removing and installation of various types of fasteners such as rivets, hi-locks etc.
• Implementing modifications as per provided work instructions and drawings.
• Drilling of different materials such as composites, aluminum, and titanium.
• Swadging and installing hydraulic and fuel lines.
• Compositing repairs such as potting, plugging, and surface repairs.
• Application of various adhesives and sealants.
• Application of primers and paint.
Requirements:
• 2 years of drilling, riveting, countersinking, and aircraft structure experience.
• Confident to work in confined space for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work first shift schedule with shift flexibility, travel, and work OT
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently or as a team in a fast-paced environment
• Have high standards for your work
• Ability to clear a background check, drug screen, and obtain an Airbus badge and passport
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and internal software applications
• Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, and work stands unassisted
• Must be able to bend, kneel, crawl and stoop frequently in confined spaces
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Must be willing to work in an environment that is subject to changing climate conditions and moderate noise levels
Preferred Qualifications:
• Have a current A&P license
• Able to work independently and/or with a team in accordance with drawings and work instructions
