Our client is seeking a Manager of Enterprise Analytics with a Data Engineering focus at their Healthcare facility in Houston, Texas. This is a (full-time) direct hire, senior level position open to those who are US Citizens or Green Card holders
Position Summary :
This person will lead our analytics team in delivering high-quality, data-driven solutions that align with organizational goals. This role involves strategic planning, leadership, and technical expertise to drive value through data collection, processing, modeling, and insights.
Minimum Qualifications :
Education :
Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science Analytics, Business Analytics, or equivalent experience required.
Experience / Knowledge / Skills :
5 years of experience in Analytics and Information Systems, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
7 years of experience in Enterprise Data Analytics
Strong expertise in business intelligence tools, data science platforms, and data visualization tools such as Tableau (preferred), PowerBI, Snowflake, SQL, Python, and Hadoop.
Exceptional clear communicator and must have advanced collaboration skills with a customer-focused mindset.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of data governance, regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA), and quality control processes.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership :
Manage and align department initiatives with organizational goals.
Oversee resource allocation, performance tracking, and professional development of team members.
Data Engineering and Analytics :
Lead efforts in data collection, processing, modeling, and analytics to provide actionable insights.
Oversee the onboarding and transformation of data into the Enterprise Data Warehouse platform.
Collaboration and Communication :
Act as an advisor to executive leadership, ensuring analytics solutions drive strategic decisions.
Foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
Operational Excellence :
Develop and maintain quality standards for analytics processes and tools.
Oversee the administration, availability, and growth of foundational analytics systems and tools.
Team Development and Mentorship :
Mentor, coach, and train team members and analytics user groups in tools like Tableau and SQL.
Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Governance and Compliance :
Ensure adherence to organizational policies, regulatory standards, and data security protocols.
Monitor and improve departmental performance within budgetary constraints.
Preferred Skills (not required) :
Experience with Tableau Core and Data Management Server.
Familiarity with advanced statistical tools such as R, SAS, or SPSS.
