Position Description
This position is responsible for the visual inspection of aviation parts, ensuring product quality and inventory control within the Kent, WA Warehouse location.
Skills & Responsibilities
• Responsible for all quality control inspections on aircraft/components
• Follows Quality Control requirements in accordance with established “6S”, ISO / ASA 100 and AS9120 procedures
• Process daily inspections and receipts to include RMAs in the warehouse management system or customers systems as required
• Prepares and endorses material certification, in accordance with established quality standards.
• Ability to package per ATA 300 goods for storage and shipment
• Ability to package goods for hazardous shipments
• Has a working knowledge of non-conforming materials procedures
• Other duties as assigned
Required Education & Experience
• 2 year’s inspection experience in an aviation environment, performing quality inspection functions
• High school graduate
• Advanced knowledge of aviation parts, quality requirements, specifically with both Domestic and Foreign Airworthiness Regulations required
• Expert aerospace quality inspection comprehension
• Ability to obtain and retain a Forklift Certification
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance; the majority of time is spent standing and walking. You must have the ability to climb, bend, squat, reach, grasp and lift
