Position Description
This position is responsible for identifying order complexity and managing the internal routing process most effectively.
Skills & Responsibilities
- Coordinates all trucks delivering and/or picking up products at the warehouse. Ensures all shipments have correct shipping documents and are picked up as soon as possible.
- Responsible for entering the tracking information into SAP and completing the transaction to close out the order.
- Ensure trucks are loaded, with accuracy, as soon as possible. Verify that the shipment has been routed correctly and changed if necessary.
- Handle appropriate paperwork for international shipments.
- Assign the appropriate dock door for all trucks. Notify the appropriate personnel when trucks are on-site and ready to be loaded/unloaded.
- Complete the PGI transaction and at the end of the day, ensure that all orders which have shipped are PGI'd.
Required Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Two (2) plus years’ experience in a shipping/receiving/logistics role.
- Prior experience with SAP preferred.
- Very competent level of data entry.
- Good oral and written communication skills required.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Must be able to organize and prioritize workload.
