FLSA : Exempt, Salary

Compensation : $68,000- $78,000 annually 10% Bonus Potential!

PURPOSE

The Brand Manager will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that elevate VASA Fitness's brand presence and drive member engagement. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual with exceptional writing skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating effectively across departments. A passion for fitness and helping people live healthy lives is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Management : Lead the planning, development, and execution of marketing campaigns, including new product launches, promotions, and member engagement initiatives.
  • Campaign and Project Briefing : Develop comprehensive project and campaign briefs that provide clear guidance, objectives, and deliverables to internal teams and external partners, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Creative Direction & Oversight : Lead the review and approval process for key marketing communications, including emails, push notifications, text messages, social media posts, and other member- and prospect-facing materials to ensure they align with brand standards and campaign objectives.
  • Content Creation : Write and edit compelling, on-brand content across various channels that are consistent with our brand tone and voice and resonate with target audiences. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration of messaging within broader campaigns and across various channels including social media, blogs, emails, SMS, push notifications, advertising, radio, TV, etc.
  • Competitive Research &Trend Analysis : Conduct ongoing research into marketing materials from other brands across various industries, including messaging, copywriting, email creative, and ad creative. Use insights to identify trends and opportunities, ensuring VASA Fitness's marketing creative remains innovative, relevant, and on-trend across all channels.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure cohesive brand messaging and strategy execution. Collaborate with our Marketing, HR, Operations, Product, Social, and Communications teams to successfully inform, educate, and train team members and members on in-club events, new processes and operating procedures, technology enhancements, special offers and promotions, new products, etc.
  • Event Planning & Execution : Organize and manage brand events, from conception to execution, ensuring they effectively promote VASA Fitness's mission and enhance member engagement. This includes coordinating logistics, vendor relationships, and event promotion. Communicate details about each event to all teams affected and involved in each event in a timely manner, and train team members as needed on event deliverables and how to successfully execute each event.
  • Photoshoot and Video Coordination : Assist with the planning and execution of photoshoot and video production, including creating detailed shot lists, schedules, and timelines. Provide on-site support during filming to manage logistics and ensure alignment with brand vision. Work with the Product team to ensure proper form is used by talent during every movement at every shoot. Review initial rounds of photo and video proofs, providing detailed feedback to ensure the final product lives up to VASA's high creative standards and accurately portrays our brand, members, and team members. This includes but is not limited to brand campaign, product, and REVIVE retail shoots.
  • REVIVE Retail : Oversee all marketing efforts related to REVIVE retail drinks, snacks, gear, and apparel including quarterly collection launch plans, photoshoots, promotional communications and creative, in-club advertising, and social media promotions.
  • Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience : Minimum of 5 years in brand management or marketing roles, preferably within the fitness or health industry.
  • Skills :
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to solve problems while balancing multiple priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Open-minded to new approaches and ability to think outside the box to come up with winning ideas.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
  • Optimistic mindset with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
  • Naturally collaborative, with the desire to grow and leverage relationships at all levels.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of ownership, sense of urgency, and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe products.

  • WORKING CONDITIONS

    Primary work in a fitness facility and office setting. Temperature variations can occur. The environment includes some ambient noise such as talking and use of gym equipment and machinery.

    PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Talking : Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Physical Strength : Non-Sedentary work, standing and walking most of the time. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Reasoning Ability : Ability to deal with a variety of variables under limited standardization. Able to interpret various instructions and relay instructions to clients
  • Attendance is an essential duty of the position. Employees must work regularly scheduled shifts, during business hours to assist members and sell services in-person.
