Job Title: Vascular Surgeon

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Vascular Surgeon to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years surgical experience with expertise in the surgical and endovascular treatment of all aspects of vascular disease including carotid, aortic, lower extremity, dialysis, venous disease, and shares a passion for quality, innovation, and teamwork. As a Vascular Surgeon, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to deliver top-tier treatment in a patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat vascular diseases affecting arteries, veins, and lymphatic systems, including aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, and peripheral arterial disease.
- Perform open surgeries, endovascular procedures, and minimally invasive techniques to treat vascular conditions.
- Proficient in dialysis creation and maintenance.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices in vascular care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough medical records in compliance with hospital and legal requirements.
- Stay updated on the latest advances in vascular surgery and participate in continuing education to maintain board certification.
Qualifications:
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Board certified or board eligible in Vascular Surgery. Licensed to practice in the state of Texas or eligible for Texas medical licensure.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of post-residency/fellowship experience in vascular surgery preferred, but new graduates from fellowship programs are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Proficiency in open vascular surgery, endovascular techniques, and hybrid procedures. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and patient care skills with a commitment to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to diverse patient populations.
