Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Physician Community Liaison to join Vascular Institute of Chattanooga, PLLC. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare sales, specifically within the medical field, and be dedicated to promoting our vascular services to potential clients. This role requires excellent communication and relationship-building skills to drive patient referrals, educate healthcare professionals, and contribute to the growth and success of our vascular practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:
  • Identify, target, and build relationships with key healthcare providers, including physicians, hospitals, clinics, and other medical professionals to promote vascular services.
  • Generate leads and new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Present and explain the full range of services offered by the vascular practice, including diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to understand patient needs and recommend appropriate services.
  • Drive patient referrals and work closely with the Director of Sales to ensure smooth onboarding of new patients.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with medical professionals and healthcare organizations to build trust and encourage repeat business.
  • Regularly follow up with potential and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback for improvement.
  • Provide education and resources to medical professionals on the latest vascular treatments, advancements, and services.
  • Marketing & Outreach:
  • Represent the practice at local medical conferences, seminars, and community outreach programs to increase awareness of vascular services.
  • Create and distribute marketing materials to promote services to healthcare providers and patients.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop strategies that support sales goals, including digital campaigns, educational events, and patient engagement efforts.
  • Sales Reporting & Tracking:
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and leads within the CRM system.
  • Regularly report on sales progress, pipeline, and business development opportunities to the Sales Manager or Office Manager.
  • Achieve sales targets and performance metrics as set by management.
  • Collaboration and Support:
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and patient satisfaction.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales department and the medical staff to ensure effective communication and alignment of goals.
  • Assist with follow-up calls to patients when necessary and ensure a seamless experience.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the healthcare or medical field. Experience with vascular services is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of vascular procedures, treatments, and diagnostics is preferred.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related field is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory to visit healthcare providers and attend events.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
