Immediate opening for full-time insurance coordinator in a physician practice, proficient with computers and has strong organizational skills. Able to work independently and have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Verify insurance eligibility for visits, ultrasounds and in office procedures.
Obtain authorizations for inpatient/outpatient surgeries/procedures.
Obtain insurance referrals as needed.
Knowledge of medical terminology and diagnosis and procedural codes.
Summary
