Job Description
Our rapidly growing company is seeking an eligibility specialist to join our team. The eligibility personnel are responsible for verifying patient insurances.
Job Duties
1) Verification: Eligibility personnel are responsible for verifying patient insurance.
2) Insurance Maintenance: It is the responsibility of the eligibility personnel to keep the patient’s Nextgen insurance information up to date.
3) Communication: Eligibility personnel are responsible for communicating any need for referrals, authorizations and collecting additional information from patients to the home offices, prior to the patient arriving for their appointment.
4) Phone Calls & Emails: Answer inside and outside calls or emails from VSA offices and patients.
5) Employee Training: All personnel are required to actively participate in yearly compliance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
